Sunday is for rest
December 11, 2022 by Jenna -
As Diana stated yesterday, we have been having conflicts the past couple days in the chimp house. While fights are perfectly normal in chimpanzee society, it is nonetheless quite stressful for these events to take place. So far, today has been mostly full of relaxation and currently I see many chimps napping. Let’s all knock on wood now to ensure I didn’t jinx it!
Here’s some photos of the day!

Wondering…when the chimps have conflicts can the staff figure out what the conflict is?
Thanks, Jenna!
Which side was the drama coming from? The old guard, or the newbies?
From the list, it looks like Jamie has expanded her interests to include tattoos….
Knocking on wood right now, hope it helps!
Thinking, resting, yearning for your BFF to come over and play, no matter what the chimps are up to, they look so innocent and easy going. Hard to imagine them any other way. 😉
What a group of perfect, beautiful chimpanzees!
