There’s more than one way to remove snow

Good thing it keeps snowing because it’s incredible how much snow these chimpanzees eat! Given Annie’s tactic, she must be immune to freeze brain:

Meanwhile outside, in a turn of events, it was Jody who marched out onto the hill while good friend, Foxie, stayed behind and watched after her:

I’m so glad that their sense of wonder with the snow never disappears…we got a smidgen last night, probably the third time it’s snowed all winter, and everyone was so happy that we didn’t have to go out into it because of the holiday! We need to make like the chimps, and appreciate the simple things more…..maybe if I had those heated floors to come home to! :DWill the chimps be celebrating Mardi Gras? Burrito needs some more beads! 😛

Great pictures! Although the snow might not have the same wadge-appeal as pine needles and pumpkins, it is heartening to see Annie, Jody, and company enjoying such a low-calorie delicacy. Buon appetite!

Incredible photos of Annie enjoying her snow snacks. Looks like the sun is bouncing off of her. Beautiful! I am impressed that Jody and Foxie brave the snow each day and I am touched by they way they keep a good eye on each other. Very sweet.
