Tool bench

Last summer we got this pretty awesome workbench which the chimpanzees loved (and loved to death!) so we added the same workbench to our Amazon wishlist again recently. Jamie and Annie both spent a fair amount of time with it, but Annie was able to stay out of sight from the paparazzi 🙂 But we did get a few photos of Jamie playing with the tools.

First she knocked the bench on its side and twisted the vice around:

And then she used the wrench as a screwdriver:

Is the workbench a toy or real? Where did it come from? Is it expensive?
    Just curious.

Hi Donna, it’s a Little Tikes bench from Amazon 🙂 Things have to be both super sturdy for the chimps and also safe – so toys designed for toddlers usually fit both those parameters.

Another is on its way – look for it tomorrow or next day.
I hope they like this one too.

Thanks, Wanda! We will save it for when the current one becomes loved to death 😉

Maybe you should put it out right away and they can have two to share rather than only one able to use it at a time. I would like that if you could.

I wouldn’t be surprised if you found an addition to the Greenhouse some morning. Jamie looks pretty intent on getting the hang of this workbench!
