Sippin’ for the Seven Benefit

January 26, 2011 by Diana -

Share with your friends!

It’s time for our third annual Sippin’ for the Seven wine tasting benefit!

I sent out an announcement today to our local list, which can be viewed and shared online.

We have a venue change this year to a bigger and beautiful space – Swiftwater Cellars at Suncadia Resort.

As you know if you’ve been to past CSNW events, we tend to sell out, so I advise that you get your tickets right away.

Here are the basics:

Saturday, February 26, 2011
5:00-7:30pm
Swifterwater Cellars, Suncadia Resort, 301 Rope Rider Drive, Cle Elum, WA

For full details visit the event page and be sure to check in on the Facebook page too – Facebook makes it easy to invite your friends.

If you’re unable to attend, please consider giving a donation.
We’ll send you a wine glass if you donate $40 or more!

We love Sippin’ !

    Beautiful poster, who designed it?

Isn’t it great? This is the front of a postcard-size take-way. The 11×17 posters are gorgeous as well. Matthew Wentz of Wenz Creative is the designer. He’s terrific. He lives in Cle Elum. He designed the first Sippin’ event graphics with the black background and red bottle. If anyone wants design work done he does freelance stuff even at a distance. Just let me know and I’ll put you in touch with him. He’s interested in doing some posters for the sanctuary to sell at some point too.

Matthew, you did a fantastic job on the poster. Now I’d definitely be interested in purchasing a poster whenever they hit the CSNW store.

Weird. I’m not sure why you can’t see the image. It’s the same as the one on the announcement, linked to first above: https://staging.chimpsnw.org/Newsletters/Sippin2011.php

Can you see just the image if you go to this link?: https://staging.chimpsnw.org/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/sm-4×6-SFTS-FINAL-FRONT.jpg

apparently Internet Explorer didn’t like the original name of the file. Other browsers would show it, but not IE. Everyone should be able to see it in this post now.

Any chance there will be dry soda there this year?

    • Diana on January 27, 2011 at 3:21 pm

We’ve haven’t had luck getting Dry Soda to donate to Sippin’ or our auction (we’ve tried). We had just a bit last year that Vintage Vine donated. I don’t know if we’ll have it this year, but I can put in a request.

The day before is my 10th wedding anniversary. I’m going to see if I can convince my husband either to take me to the event or let me plan our own like marie (below) thought of.

        • Diana on January 28, 2011 at 7:32 am

I’m a little biased, but I think you should come to Sippin’!

        • marie cross uk on January 28, 2011 at 12:23 pm

yes yes yes i agree !

  5. marie cross uk on January 27, 2011 at 3:44 pm

the poster is beautiful , cant be with you guys but will be sending a donation and we might even have our own wine event the same night in your honour ! good luck im sure it will be a great success xxx

    • Diana on January 27, 2011 at 3:48 pm

Thanks, Marie. Hey, that’s a good idea – supporters at a distance should have their own “Sippin’ for the Seven” celebrations on the same night! In their own home or out with friends. I like that idea of a bunch of people from all over this country and as far away as the UK celebrating the seven at the same time as the event!
