PAWSwalk – more fun that a hangar full of dogs

Keith and I manned and womanned the CSNW booth at PAWSwalk yesterday. I had no idea I was going to have so much fun. Keith has been going for years, but this was my first time. We talked to so many wonderful people and I must have patted hundreds of dogs. The Seattle ‘animal community’ is awesome, and PAWS is an organization to admire. Hopefully there are a few new friends on the blog today that stopped by our booth yesterday. I hope to see you at the walk next year too!

Glad you had such a great time yesterday.

You’re right about Seattle’s animal community. The only other place I have seen that comes close was in Colorado.

Just yesterday, as I was getting my hair cut and colored, my stylist’s dog sat on my lap. The establishment next door brought their dog in as well and in the mirror I could see their dog chasing after the tennis ball in the parking lot for minutes on end.

That sounds like a blast.. I just sent a long email to ” Nicholas Evans” the writer, I asked him for direction and any advise on wirting a book to help the chimpanzees in this country move on to sanctuary. He writes alot of books with animals in teh storyline. I told him I want to find an author that would help write a book and want to donate the proceeds to build a sanctuary!!! I hope I hear back from him, I am on a mission and whatever it takes!

It’s such a great event, I wish I could’ve made it this year.
