How wonderful to see Burrito! It is so great to see him happy, running (on previous video) and able to be himself. What a guy!

So many of your photos are absolutely stunning in how they reflect the intelligence and personality of these wonderful individuals. You’re creating such wonderful documentation of how animals who have withstood so many years of pain, isolation and stress make the transition to sanctuary. Perhaps there will be a book in this some day.

P.S. Or when Burrito writes his first book, this can be his photo on the dust jacket cover. 🙂

Burrito looks very happy. Content. Peaceful. And a tad introspective.

So just when I wonder what you will come up with next….here is!!! I wonder what lurks behind those eyes? He’s a very direct sort of guy!! What beautiful, unique individuals we are all learning more about each day.

Burrito leaning up next to a tree, what a beautiful picture! I always wonder what if???? What if they aere in the wild in Africa, where God created them to swing from the trees, with their family units, I love that Burrito is coming out of his shell. Who is Burrito favorite woman, which one does he choose to hang around the most, does he ever snuggle with the girls, like for instance Negra, because she seems to be more of the mother figure in the group, and because he is the only male is he starting to act like the head of the group or is the leader Negra???? Lots of questions, but they are always running through my mind, even in my sleep, no wonder I am so tired, I cannot stop thinking of the chimps, not only the Cle Elum 7, but all the chimps across the globe that are stuck in confinement, they probably love Sundays as the scientist are off and they have peace, that is the kind of stuff that goes round and round, sometimes it drives me CRAZY, because there is not much I can do to help them. See what this picture did to me, he is so content npw at his new home and I want more of them to have this in the future…dang it !

OH……MY……..GOSH…………..this is an AMAZING photo. It just takes my breath away. I think if I only had one wish, it would be for all animals to live in peace and harmony with Mother Nature (including homo sapiens). This photo is so moving…………I hope, JB, that you and the others know how much you enhance our lives everyday by sharing your experiences with these devine chimpanzees. I could stare into Burrito’s eyes for hours….or maybe even forever. wow.

Ditto, ditto, ditto! Burrito has such an expression on his face, very compelling, very thoughtful. Oh the stories he has and gives us glimpses of in photos like this. Thanks for sharing. I hope everyone had a good weekend. 6333333333333333333333333++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++0000000

he looks so pensive, innocent & of course definitely very very handsome

look at that face! makes me so very sad & angry that anybody could harm or do anything to him in his former life .. so happy is safe now

I really hope you will be able to come up with some funding and some donated expert help soon to publish a book of photographs of our beautiful Cle Elum Seven!! All of your photos are just amazing!! I would LOVE to have a book like that, and to be able to give Cle Elum Seven books to everyone for Christmas gifts!! 🙂 If not this year, then next year…..
