In Memory of Riley
January 1, 2013 by Elizabeth -
Janet Henry recently sponsored a day in honor of Riley, a friend’s beloved dog who passed away recently after being hit by a car. What a truly sweet way to honor Riley and her family. Thank you, Janet!
We’re occasionally visited at the sanctuary by two of the neighbor’s dogs who love to bark at and play chase with the chimpanzees out on Young’s Hill. 🙂

I can’t even imagine what the neighbouring DOGS must of thought the very first time they came unto CSNW property, and they saw the chimps,,
and likewise for the chimps,, it must make for some very interesting interactions through the safety fences, What does THE BOSS,, think of dogs? I imagine, each individual chimp… must have its own unique and individual reaction or to them.. the dogs obviously return for more chase, even the fences are considerably safe distances apart, interesting indeed.
I think in the past Jamie has displayed a bit at them, then challenged them to a game of chase.
Now that would be a sight to see!
