Portraits of Play

February 21, 2025 by Ellen -

Share with your friends!

Today I want to share with you some photos of chimps at play!

First up, Rayne and Dora enjoying the fun that comes with a room full of paper.

Those play faces are the best!

Time to wrestle!

Dora is on the left and Rayne is on the right rocking a waistband.

Next up is Burrito and Foxie!

May we all have those friends in our lives that let us be completely ourselves, and never fail to make us laugh!

One of my pet peeves is seeing paper that doesn’t get reused, recycled and is simply thrown away. I’m so happy to see the joy provided to the chimps by playing in all that noisy paper. Ellen, laughs to you, happy weekend.

I think they do as much as they can to recycle and reuse.

    Thank you, Ellen!
    Great play faces, indeed!
I always love to see pics from the OG side of the chimp house!

The looks on their faces! Pure and honest joyfulness. Especially enjoyed Rayne looking directly into the camera. (I must add that I feel the promise of springtime now that I’ve seen Rayne sporting her headband!) And Burrito is laughing throughout every photo as he hams it up with his pal Foxie.

Yup! There is nothing better than a trusty sidekick (or two) that makes you laugh your way through life.

Love seeing them play! Look at those big smiles!
Also, Rayne’s waist band! Rocking it Annie-style, for sure.
