First off, we’re excited to announce a giveaway with Vegancuts– a vegan, cruelty-free snack and beauty box subscription company. Every month they choose one sanctuary to partner with, support, and spread the word about and we’re thrilled that they’ve chosen CSNW for the month of October! We’re doing a fabulous give-away where you can enter to win a 3-month snack box subscription plus a CSNW Hydroflask and stickers! The contest runs for one week starting today (10/10/24) and will end October 17th, with the winner being announced October 18th. It’s super easy to enter- just go to our Facebook or Instagram, make sure you’re following CSNW and Vegancuts, like our give-away post, and tag a friend in the comments!
They’ve also given us a code to share for 30% off your first subscription box order- use code VEGANCUT30OFF at check out. 🙂

We’ve been extremely fortunate to be able to enjoy some mild Autumn weather at the sanctuary lately. Central Washington has this golden hue right now that makes the chimps pop out in our beautiful landscape.

Alas, I’m not on FB or IG.:pensive: Good luck to those who are, especially if you’re vegan! Fun idea!

I love them in the golden light–happy that the meatball is making sure that Gordo gets some bro time, bless him!

This time of year I really enjoy the stark contrast of the chimps against the autumn grass. Especially on a day like you had today. The sunshine pumps up the gold. Even Negra is glowing in her sun puddle!

Annie looks so pretty in this picture. I can’t always recognize some of the chimps in pictures but I always know sweet Annie. I love going for a drive to Central/Eastern WA this time of year, it’s beautiful.

Sweet Annie looks so pretty in this picture. I can’t always recognize every chimp from the pictures but always know Annie’s face.

Golden autumn weather over in PNW and those photos look very golden. Lovely to see the chimps including my sweet Annie out there enjoying that warm fall sunshine. Hey, Nancy, that drive through Central/ Eastern WA sounds idyllic. Some yesrs back I visited Ellensburg and took a stroll through CWU visiting the Friends of Washoe chimps and wow, the trees and landscape were sublime. Great memories to take back to Australia and to cherish.
