Neggie’s “Unofficial” 2nd Birthday

Annie’s 50th birthday was a big deal, but Negra definitely thought it was all about her! Okay, maybe we did spoil her a little on party day… Here are some special moments of Negra enjoying her “unofficial” birthday celebration.

Well, happy unofficial 2nd birthday, Neggie! I loved watching that very serious business of the nest preparation and Neggie not letting go of that grapevine. Made me feel like a nap myself watching Neggie finally settled in her nest. What happened to the grapevine afterwards, I wonder.
She ate it!

Well, she is the Queen, so I guess that all parties are for HRH Negra in some regard! With a menu like Annie had, how could Neggie resist? Luckily, Annie doesn’t seem to mind sharing too much!
Also, can Burrito get any more handsome and lovable?!?!
Burrito is a handsome guy, for sure! And Neggie is sweetness in the flesh! She brings joy wherever she goes.
Well, she is the Queen, after all. That, and I assume that Neggie read on the CSNW blog that one year Maeve and Willy B had two birthday parties when each of their actual birthdays were discovered; three months had passed since June 13, and all those banana cupcakes from Tuesday needed to be eaten before the bananas went bad in the late summer sun…
Perhaps Neggie’s logic is that, since her actual birthday is unknown, she should get a party every day, just to make sure all of her bases are coverd… 😉
Cause she’s 50! 50 years old! She can stretch….and kick…ok, maybe she can’t kick. But she’s 50!

Negra is clearly a believer in the concept that once you hit 50, every 50th birthday celebration includes everyone who is 50!
It is simply wonderful Neggie had so much fun on Annie’s birthday. The photos of Negra fluffing up her nest with the grapevines are simply too much. And Jamie must be a believer of the 50th birthday rule because she let Neggie enjoy her favorite boot magazines.

I think that if there’s a month without a birthday celebration, we should just pick a day and call it Queen’s Second birthday!

“Burrito” always, looks so, adorable with his having a block in his mounth. Would you please surmise, wtih a guess, as to why he enjoys carrying blocks in his mouth?
