Thank you. Becky, for your gift of sponsorship for our friends in the “vickin-ity” of Young’s Hill, Washington 98922. Alas, another year has come and gone, and unlike you, I haven’t quite achieved that evolutionary leap from mere humanzee-dom as you have; after all, you are now a member in good standing with your ladies’ social circle which consists of Lucky, Rayne, and Mora B.
For the uniniated (or, as they are more commonly known, people with a grip on Reality), Becky and I will devote hours during our weekly phone calls to our fan-fiction about the latest news of our all-chimpanzee village that is overseen by Mayor Maeve. The latest news: A new supply of magazines arrived at the village library on Saturday. Upon review, the Village Librarian expressed concerned about some of the visual content; photographs of “scary lions” (as opposed to non-scary felines) appeared to have been discerned by his gimlet eye. At the Monthly Town Meeting that is scheduled for tomorrow night, I expect Cy will have some pointed comments to orate about offensive reading material which continues to arrive at his library…at least until nightbags are distributed to the assembled.
Ha ! Enjoy your day and remember to just say “NO !” to plaid, if you make it in to Cy’s village.
