A Path Out

We finally have a decent break from the snow and subfreezing temperatures. Though there are some more winter storms in the forecast, at least most days are going to be fairly mild in regard to temperature. In fact, for the first time in a long time, the sun has broken through the clouds to grace us with it’s warm presence. With the sun out, it was too good of an opportunity not to try to give Annie’s group Young’s Hill. After some light shoveling, a path to Young’s Hill was forged.

I must apologize, however. As I watched the pileup at the door that leads to Young’s Hill was opening, I realized I had forgotten the camera and my phone. I guess it boils down to I was too plum excited to see the color contrast of chimp and snow.

Even with access to get their own snow, sometimes having the snow brought to you is the best. At least that seemed to be Jamie’s preference, with the addition of icicles and black cherry Stur water enhancers.

Missy also had joined Jamie in snow and icicles.

Some bonus photos of Willy B playing with Lucky a couple of days ago!

Chad, your photos are absolutely stunning and with the colour contrast between chimp (Annie looks beautiful) and snow they could be proudly shown on National Geographic channel! I love that the chimps are excited by the icicles which certainly caught Missy and Jamie’s attention. It may be cold outside but it hasn’t spoilt the fun. Thanks for sharing.

Oh it must be Cold out there… I can see that Hair standing on end….. I’m sure that’s one invigorating walk around that Hill:wink: When they come in Throw them some Socks and Blankets 😀

Chad, as soon as I saw “a path out”, I pictured Annie walking bipedally through the snow. Well, I was off on the bipedally part….

Not the first time I’ve seen Missy being allowed to pick something off “Jamie’s” table. Now that Jody is gone, has Missy moved into the #2 slot?

I love the piloerect fur on Annie and Wilbur’s shoulders, as well as his play-fsce and Jamie’s food-face illuminating behind her snow and icicles.

i would definitely partake of the black cherry colored snow and slurry rather than freezing my toes off to get my own snowball outside.

Absolutely love that first photo of Foxie with snowball in mouth. The photos are excellent Chad. Thank you!

These photos are great. I was surprised to see Jamie missing out on a patrol! Especially since she has a shoveled pathway. Clearly Jamie loves her flavored snow and icicle table more. And that photo of playful Willy B is amazing! What a happy handsome face.

Jamie does love the sand/snow table. It’s practically her home office at this point.

Yes! I agree. She’s so funny at times.
