Playtime with Foxie, Neggie and Burrito

It was a mellow day in the chimp house today. On Jamie’s side of the building everyone was in a playful mood, whether they had a friend or had to make their own fun. As you’ll see in today’s video, Bubba had no problem making his own fun!
Meanwhile, on Cy’s side it was naps and quiet walks on the Bray with a friend.

I couldn’t get enough of Foxie continually poking Neggie’s Buddha belly…..like she just couldn’t believe Neggie was coming back for more! Seeing the Queen up and about and laughing is always good! Ask and ye shall receive, Paulette!
Sabrina, is it my imagination, or has our Queen dropped a few pounds? I’ve asked before, but never get a response. Yes, she still has her belly, but I feel like in the last year or so, she’s slimmed down a little…which, iirc, was a goal.

That’s a good question, I’m not sure if shes lost weight but maybe we can get Neggie on the scale in their greenhouse and find out sometime soon

So happy to see somebody playing with Negra, and her having fun with it. And of course Burrito will have a good time, alone if he has to. Love his attitude!
Diana once said Negra was aging in reverse. That was some time ago. Now at 50, Negra is surely proving Diana right. Negra seems more playful and silly this year than I can remember. Plus, there’s nothing like an old friend to bring out the silliness!
Great seeing Rayne and Terry together enjoying the Bray on a brisk day. Poor Jake, no goofing off for him, someone is always watching!
It’s so wonderful to see Foxie and Neggie playing like a couple of kids. I swear CSNW must be built on the fountain of youth, Neggie sure doesn’t play like she’s 50!
Of course, Bubba being an absolute goofball with the wrapping paper. What a guy!
