Mave’s 34th Birthday Party

Mave and her family celebrated her 34th birthday today with a forage that included young coconuts. Initially, Mave did not get her own coconut but after some time foraging her best friend Dora placed an extra one by Mave’s side. Did she mean to offer it to Mave or did she simply not object when Mave picked it up? Either way, Dora is a good friend and it was the perfect gift.

Dear sweet beautiful Mave…Happy Birthday! I’ll never forget when you first arrived at CSNW. You were the first to be transferred into your new home. Then, holding onto your blankie, you watched excitedly as your friends Honey B and Willy B were rolled in and released. It was such a precious moment that I will never forget. That’s also the moment I became a lover of CSNW. I was and am so happy and privileged to witness your continued sanctuary life as it expands your environment and your family and your choices. And thrilled you have a true bestie in Dora. You take such good care of your friends. And Dora is taking such good care of you too! Here’s to you Mave! Happy birthday sweet lady!
