Dora is a busy girl. I quickly found that out yesterday when I began to record her for this blog idea I had. She is constantly on the move! While I only captured some highlights from her day, I hope you get the dose of Dora you have been wanting! She’s pretty special.

hmmm, let’s see… Combining Mave and Dora’s name to Mora. Could have been
    Dave (not!)
    Dove
    Mara
    Mador
    Dorma
yep, Mora it is. Together they’re ‘more’ !

When Dora first arrived she was said to be the smallest and craves attention. Well she certainly doesn’t have a small personality! She holds her own with the Big Guys too. Mave is such a great source of attention for her. I just love that they have built such a close friendship. I’m especially happy for Mave, going from a group of three to a group of nine and finding such a wonderful new friend.

      Isn’t she lovely?
I actually believe that Mave and Dora lived together when they were babies….not really 100% sure

Awe Dora, what a truly beautiful lady, and a popular one by all accounts. What is is about boxes she likes? I know some of the other chimps like books and boots, but boxes? Also a wee side question, do all the chimps get the same amount of food, or is it tailered to their size? Thank you for such a wonderful video, i have fallen in love more, if possible with Dora.

I think in Dora’s case the box just happened to be on the shelf so she took advantage! :joy: however, Gordo and Rayne LOVE sitting in boxes so thats definitely a thing! The chimps all get fed the same amount except the males, who are larger, get an extra serving of an item during every meal.

What a fun idea! Thanks Jenna. Dora is a busy little socialite. Totally enjoyed seeing her chomping down on her corn and perfecting her nest. Smart nest placement! Good real estate. Corner spot with firehose, window, and a grab bar that came in handy in the nest construction. Sweet dreams sweet Dora.

I’ve often wondered which foods are served raw and which are cooked? Do they still get veggie pancakes and waffles or are there just too many of them to cook for now? Such a beautiful friendship between Dora and Mave….I love to see them play and groom together.

I’ve always had the impression that pancakes and waffles were for birthdays and special days. And most of their foods raw, with baked veggies for holidays and special days.

Yes, such a sweet friendship between Dora and Mave.
And I loved Honey B’s insouciant entrance to do her
    own thing and then exit.

Love watching Dora and her bestie, Mave enjoying their day. I also see Dora is a corn on the cob “turner” not a “slider”-I can relate. 😉
