Lil’ Bit of This, Lil’ Bit of That, Lil’ Bit of Terry
December 6, 2022 by Chad -
For today’s blog, there really isn’t any theme or story. Just a random assortment of photos I was able to capture today before our monthly staff training.

Mave comforting Dora after Willy B spooked her. If you are wondering, yes. Mave and Dora hug… A LOT! Scared? Hug. Happy? Hug. Unsure? Hug. Playful? Hug. Mad (at someone else)? Hug. Sad? Hug. Bored? Hug.

A missed opportunity? Yes. This photo is blurry, but had it been in focus it would have been amazing. However, either way it is too good not to share!
And then there is Terry…

Whenever I seem to be in a jam for photos or blog material, I can usually count on Terry to bail me out of it. I mean, come on. Look at this handsome face!
Don’t forget to check out our wish list! Christmas is fast approaching and things are being added almost daily to help us throw them a wonderful party this year! We are also in need some of the Shutterfly gift cards. We use these for multiple things, including purchasing Jamie’s custom made book of the caregivers’ XtraTuf boots.

Chad, an excellent job of capturing a lil’ bit of everything. Oh those Mora photos! Best of all was your description of what makes them hug. Mave and Dora are so yummy together. Their friendship makes my heart flutter. Really, it does.
And Rayne! I haven’t seen her dear face in awhile. And Terry. What makes him so lovable? Is it his freckles? His pink eybrows? His super floofy hair? His world famous raspberries? And now, he’s a snow eating ex-Californian! He is quite the package.
Speaking of California chimps, I heard the very last two chimps of the Tree Top 10 have safety arrived at their new sanctuary home, Chimp Haven! Amazing!! All of the Wildlife Waystation chimpanzees relocated to their new homes at last. What a massive undertaking. Thank you to Chimpanzees In Need and everyone involved, especially the caregiver team at Wildlife Waystation!
The escape drill? I don’t recall reading about that, what does it entail?
It is like they do in Japan…one person dresses up as a chimpanzee, and then the staff will have to catch it……:joy:
No I am just kidding, I have no idea….
The chimps watching the escape drill! Hope they don’t decide to escape themselves! Well it would be a interesting day for the staff if they did and you would certainly have something to blog about!!
There eyes get me every time. [in a good way]
