It’s been a busy, busy day in the chimp house! While the caregivers have been busy with cleaning, the chimps have been busy with play, grooming, and relaxation. A perfect way to kick off the week!

Here are some photos from the day:

We hope you had a good weekend!

Oh no, Jenna! Looks like you got caught taking pictures of The Boss! Did you have her permission?
Thanks for the pics– It’s the fact that you guys give us pictures and video every day, even when nothing much is happening, that makes us feel like we get to know the place and these wonderful chimpy people

There’s always so much going on in and around the chimphouse! Why is it that I’m not surprised to see Cy isn’t afraid of science. I think Jamie is contemplating her upcoming birthday and hoping everything on the CSNW Amazon Wish List ends up in Cle Elum by the end of the month. And it’s hard to tell from the photo if Lucky was nesting or *scooting* with all those blankets.

I thought that scooting was hilarious and endearing when I fist saw it.
But then I learned that it is a behaviour that is compairable to pacing and that made it less funny.

I trust that our Mr. Cy (or is that “Sci”?) was able to persevere through his magazine article about the Science Guy without discerning a similarity between Bill Nye’s tall and slender morphology and that of a giraffe (thumbs up to the Guy of Science for not wearing a plaid flannel shirt with his bowtie).
