For the Fan Club

You did it! With over 20 donors pitching in, we’ve received enough in pledges and donations to purchase the “Big Ass Fan” Evaporative Cooler that was on our wish list!!
I enjoyed reading everyone’s gift notes for donations made online, and your generosity has buoyed me into the weekend.
We should receive the evaporative cooler next week, and we’ll be sure to update you on how cool the chimpanzees think it is.
Thank you to everyone who pledged and donated!
Don’t forget to register for HOOT! so we can celebrate together all that you’ve helped the sanctuary accomplish these last few years.

Hooray!! I want to do a special shout-out to Kathleen for coming up with this creative idea!! I looked at the cooler on line, gulped and then just a bit later saw Kathleen’s huge suggestion for a impromptu fundraiser. THAT I CAN DO!!! Thanks to all who’ve contributed no matter the amount. This is what a community can do when there’s creativity, proactivity and commitment. Can’t tell you all how grateful I am to be a part of it!!
I can’t take credit for this great idea. Betsy had the brainstorm to send $40 per person as a group effort. I will admit, the idea of a fundraiser hit me as I was dozing off to sleep that night. When I awoke I saw Betsy’s comment and I loved that she had the same thought and already acted on it. And I just knew we all could pull it off quickly. CSNW has the greatest, most loyal supporters. Ensuring the residents of the sanctuary live the best, and coolest, life possible is all matters to each of us.
Can’t wait to see that big badboy fan in action!
What matters is that CSNW got ehat they needed. I’m sure the chimps will be fine, i was thinking of yhe staff, it is s miserable and health-endangering experience working in such heat. Hope everyone benefits from this!

Do you need another “big ass cooler” cuz I was on vacation and am just catching up so I didn’t see this in time to donate for it… If you need a second one for another area… I’M ALL IN!!! Thanks to the FAN CLUB 🙂 for their quick responses and Kathleen for the idea!
