A little wind didn’t stop Burrito’s group from enjoying a lunch forage on Young’s Hill today.

Jody was the first one to bring her bounty back to the greenhouse. She efficiently collected her peppers and cucumbers before hustling inside to eat her meal:

Missy inhaled many Roma tomatoes before settling down to savor her cucumber:

Burrito and his armful:

Foxie likes a good cucumber:

Annie looking for primate chow:

Negra, a mouthful of chow and a sea of green:

Such beautiful foliage, and even more beautiful chimpers to forage through it.

    So much beautiful green!

Hey, I just read that seven chimps will be transferred from the Wildlife Waystation to Save the Chimps here in Florida. Yay! So happy for them. The article also said that the last 18 have designated sanctuaries to go to when ready. I’m excited for them, no matter which sanctuary they go to, it will be wonderful.

I’d love to know what part of the universe you all are in so if you’re open to it maybe put your location next to your name.

I no longer receive notifications of comments. And there’s no longer a place in the blog to request them. hmmmm

Hey, Jupiter FL Paulette. My nephew is studying marine biology in the sunshine state! He’s just finishing his first year. I’m in Greenwood Indiana, just outside of Indy.

My brother lives in Georgia and I think Project Chimps might be getting some new arrivals.

Thank you for passing on that good news, Paulette! I am here in Rhody, the home of lobstah, chowdah, stuffies, and Anthony’s parents lol! I have been missing that button, too, I only began using it recently.

I don’t miss it. I always forgot to use it!

        I’m curious. What’s a stuffy?

see, this is where that button would have been handy! It’s a large quahog clam, it’s prepared with stuffing-like bread crumbs, put back in its halfshell, and baked.

Tobin is right. The various tones of green on Young’s Hill is extraordinarily beautiful. Every year! Everyone looks happy, healthy and ready for more warm days in the sun. I mean, just look at Mr. B with his arms and mouth full of veggies. Eeesh. And then there’s our glorious Queen of Green. Double eeesh. I never tire of seeing forages on Young’s Hill!

Such enchanting pics of the original group and their antics on the green! It’s so heartwarming to know that they are living good lives and are so loved by so many. And the news about the rehoming of the remaining chimps at Wildlife Waystation is just wonderful!!

Thank you Paulette, I’m thrilled about the Sunrise Seven going to Florida. I’m here in Seattle, not that far from Cle Elum!
