   It’s pretty darn hard to not laugh along with them! Burrito is just so silly. And so is Jamie when she’s with Burrito. After all these years who would have guessed this duo would become close pals.

   I was wondering… because I haven’t been in this group very long, about 15 months or so. every so often somebody comments with a sort of surprise about one of the ladies playing with burrito. like that’s a new thing. Has Burrito had a vasectomy? or been castrated? or been harmed in his genitals? Because I’ve been wondering if his testosterone levels are lower, which may explain why the ladies’ attitudes toward him have changed. ??

     That seens to be it, Paulette.
     Every day/morning, Burrito would have a display, to let off the steam/energy. The ladies pretty much just tolerated him. He had had a vasectomy previously, because it is a sanctuary. JB posted a blog called “The Tell” IIRC, if you want to search it.
     When they tried to integrate the 7 with the 3, the infamous 4:30 am scuffle resulted in some injuries, Burrito’s being the most severe. Those injuries, plus a benign mass on one of his “pelotas”, led them to make the decision to castrate Bubba. He was out of commission for a few days. And since then, they seem to enjoy life with him more. They’ll correct me if I’m wrong.
     So that plus 2 rattlesnake bites had us thinking “poor Bubba can’t catch a break’. but he’s been a ball of energy since.
