The sanctuary can be silent one moment and thunderous the next, with many interesting sounds woven in between.

Hi, Anna!
What a beautifully done video!
I just know those were Willy B’s teeth clicking in the grooming!
What was Li’l Dora alarm calling for!? It’s not even close to snake season!
It was hard to figure out. Only she knows 🙂
why was aDORAble alarm calling?
I’ve noticed in past videos that there is so much background noise like fans and water hoses and floor brushing etc. probably just seems like white noise to you, like it’s not even there. I bet it’s really quiet at night. Wish I could see them all snuggled in their nests at night.
Paulette, I’ve always wanted to hear them calling good night to each other, like :laughing:the Waltons!
I feel as if there is an example of the chimps all saying Good Night but this is all I could find. Listen and enjoy : Nest Grunts : https://staging.chimpsnw.org/2010/10/nest-grunts/
And you’ll notice a ink within the copy (hoohuhhoohuh) that directs you to an old post from January 28, 2009 where J.B. mentions the Walton “Good Night” comparison. 😉
Thank you, Kathleen, that was perfect! Done long before I began reading the blog, but exactly what I imagined!
