Thanks so much to Michael Stockdale for sponsoring a day of sanctuary in honor of his wife, Terry, and Foxie and Missy, in celebration of their August birthdays! (Foxie’s birthday was August 8th and Missy’s is August 23rd!).

Happy Birthday to all of our two and four legged friends, this month.
After looking at Missy’s photo of her walking along the firehose, I was wondering if she or any of the Chimps ever get inner ear problems that affect their balance.
Good question. I guess we’d see it more in Jamie and Missy, since they’re the tightrope walkers!
I remember an uncle lost hearing in one ear and it threw off his balance. He was told to ease up on sodium, including, gasp! tomatoes!
