Honey B’s Birthday Party

A very Happy Birthday to the one-and-only Honey B! As Orwell didn’t quite say: All animals are unique but some animals are more unique than others. And no one is more unique than Honey B.
And a very Happy Animal Sanctuary Caregiver’s Day, as well, to our friends and colleagues around the world and especially to our very own dedicated and caring staff and volunteers. The chimps and bovines couldn’t ask for a better crew.
Jamie tests the limits to see how far her caregivers will go to make her happy.

Was it the same menu on the other side of the howdy door?
Also, have you found another place that sells organic roses, or are those from someone’s yard?
The coconuts and coffee were special for the Three but the other group had a fun forage on the hill for lunch. Kelsi actually brought in the roses. We have tons of wild yellow roses on the property but she was able to find someone with other varieties that they grew organically in their yard.
Ok, thanks! If you ever find another business selling organic, let us know! (For February:) )

You are a very lucky special girl, with so many friends who love you. 🙂
The Birthday Girl’s food squeaks and barks are absolutely divine! Broom in hand, she made sure that not one kernel of popcorn went to waste. Now that I know that Honey B has a taste for coffee (decaf, perhaps, but no less a morning necessity), come Monday morning, I plan to watch this video again during my daily morning struggle, cuppa joe in hand, to charge my neurons. It will be a treat and an honor to (remotely) spend my coffee break with Honey B.

What a fantastic party! Honey B looked and sounded so excited over her coconut and coffee, and her massive head of lettuce too! But Willy B stole the day with his coconut toss. That was hysterical. And the birthday girl even cleans up after herself. Oh Honey B, you are the best. Happy birthday to you!
I am now soooo excited over that new greenhouse space! Grass flooring?!? Wow! This will be interesting to see who plants their feet in the grass first. And how long will it take them before they do it?!? My mind is racing with the possibilities…..

Happy birthday Honey B! I loved your party. WillyB reminded me of Burrito and his throwing the coconut around toget it open. I laughed at it being the two boys having trouble! Oh Honey B you are so fun to watch enjoying yourself at your birthday party!
She’s so excited, bless her……I think it’s safe to say she had a wonderful birthday. Great close up of Mave at the start, Willy B is hilarious throwing his coconut around, and the photo of the Jamie race….well, that’s dedication beyond the call of duty!
How did you learn of Honey B’s love for coffee? Was she introduced to it in her previous life?
Yes, her caregivers at the Wildlife Waystation used to bring her coffee from time to time.
Happy birthday sweet, amazing, clever girl!!! I know it was as amazing as she is! Happy caregiver day! You make their lives as great as they can be! My favorite sentiment I carry with me is “The quality of my work is the quality of their life.” You have give them a top notch quality of life! Cheers to you!
