Brush After Every Meal

After breakfast, there were a fair amount of toothbrushes in the chimpanzees’ enrichment. Honey B, without skipping a beat, decided to practice good dental hygiene.

Here is a bonus photo of beautiful Mave enjoying her chow taken by caregiver Kelsi.

Can’t help but wonder if Honey B has played with a toothbrush before CSNW, my guess would be no (?!) so it’s amusing seeing her with brush in mouth. I mean it could make for a super cool grooming tool right?! Thanks for including dear Mave enjoying her chow.

Looks like Honey B is also doing some tongue scraping. Good for you.

…Maybe Miss Honey B has always wanted a piccolo or two… : ) Anyway, she looks quite content…
I’m sure I’m not alone, but I always get such a “kick” out watching these intelligent & amazing chimps enjoying their food the way they do…(especially Mr. Burrito)
Knowing how much time & effort you put into so carefully meeting their nutritional needs, & then seeing how enthusiastic they are when it comes to meal/snack time,
must make you dear people feel so content…
