Merry Christmas!

It was a crazy Christmas in the chimp house! We had two huge parties, one in the Mezzanine and one in the Playroom. Don’t worry, we had a party for Burrito too. Their parties were filled with cider, stuffed squash, green beans, and new toys. Honey B LOVED her new broom, Foxie was so excited for her new dolls, and Jamie could not wait to make a nest with her new boots and books! This was Honey B, Mave, and Willy B’s first Christmas at Chimpanzee Sanctuary Northwest. And I have to say I think they approved!

We have so many amazing donors and supporters. Thank you so much for helping make these 10 amazing chimpanzee’s Christmas feel so special. Happy Holidays everyone!

What a wonderful video, thank you !
This made my Chimp Xmas complete, along with a new CSN Calendar and Tote Bag !!
    Merry Xmas to all.

Oh, bless them all! Everybody looked and sounded like they had a great time! And well-deserved. If you all had as much fun tending them as I/we did watching, I’m sure it was a great Christmas for you as well.
    Such fun!

It doesn’t like emojis! But it’s happened to most of us, so we know what you mean! 😀

Kelsi, thanks for working on Xmas, and for making a longer video, which had a pause in the middle so we could hear the grunts and squeaks! You spoil us!
That top pic of Jo is so pretty that I thought “between Jody with lilacs” and this one, maybe next year’s calendar should be all Jo!
Annie may have declared the party opened, but by then, Neggie had already snatched up something (perhaps a fluffy dinner roll?) I don’t think I’ve ever seen Neggie move so fast! Alas, if she and Willy lived together, she’d never get any rolls!
I’m glad Mr B got a half bucket of his favorite thing. Still think he might deserve some Lentil pasta mac n cheese for his birthday in two weeks (and yes, I do say that in part because I want to see pasta cam again! Guilty as charged!)
I asked this before, but…when Honey B is moving around on her scooter, is she using her cup to collect items? Because I don’t think any of the others do that.
Thanks to whomever gave Foxie that big Dora! I see great adventures ahead!
Happy holidays to all staff, volunteers, and readers!

What a celebration! First off I have to ask what was under the green wrapping with the black handle sticking out?! Was hoping to see one of the Mezzanine gang rip it open. The suspense is killing me. : ) And I loved Honey B absconding with the dinner roll right in front of Willy B. Man did she dash off quickly with goodie in hand! Honey B is quite a character, similar to Jamie in her busy brainiac ways.

I was thrilled to see my dear Negra sitting at her private table for one enjoying her feast while Jamie worked on her moveable feast and gift collection in the background. What fun watching everyone.

Merry Christmas Kelsi, thank you for caring for your CSNW family today and seeing to it that they all had the best Christmas ever. This video was just perfect.

Kathleen, I think that’s Honey B’s new pink car! I’m dying to see her use it, too!
(They also mixed up Annie and Missy’s positions at the beginning, but we know who’s who! No way that stubby little foot is Annie’s! 🙂 )

      • Avatar Kelsi on December 26, 2019 at 1:32 pm

Yes! It is her hot pink car. We were waiting all day for them to open it. They were curious, but no one took the bag off. Finally, when we went in to spot clean later that day we opened it more for them. Honey B seems to really like it. You are right Linda I mixed the L and R up. I was so worried about loading the video in time I didn’t proof read the video like I should have!

What a delightful video…I had a big smile on my face through the entire thing. Favorite part: the scooter rider gathering up as much of the goodies as she could. felt sorry for Burrito having to miss all the fun and spend Christmas all by himself but know it was for his own good. Thank you Kelsi for a great video. I wish I knew how to e-mail it to everyone I know.

If you’re on your phone or laptop, you can share the blog page by clicking the 3 dots at the top right of your screen and choosing “share “. If it’s on your phone, your phone will ask if you want to share thru text or email. Email might be easiest as you’ll just have to enter the first few letters of your friends’ email addresses, and their names should pop right up. Click on or touch them, then start another. If on phone, When you’ve finished, click “done” and then the arrow to send. On laptop, just the regular “send”). Good luck!

Thanks Linda for trying to help. I clicked on the 3 dots and there was no SHARE category, so I’m still not able to send CSN photos/videos to friend.

Yes, watching Honey B on the scooter might have been my favorite part of the day! 🙂 Rest a sure Burrito had a party too and a few play dates!
