How to Forage

Gather as much of the most prized item as you can, filling your hands so that you must stand bipedally.
Process the food as you go.
Don’t worry about what other people are doing.
Just go for it.
Get the most out of everything you’ve gathered.
Take a rest, but make sure to guard any leftovers.

I know each night I drift off to slumberland with such excitement of the arrival of a few more blessed family chimps.

Diana, since corn is one of Neggie’s favorites, this makes me wonder…does Neggie ever get pilo over food, like Mr. B?
I don’t recall seeing Negra pilo over food. She does get quite impatient with our service sometimes, but even then, it’s not to the point of being pilo. It doesn’t take much to trigger Burrito’s “goosebumps.” 🙂
Oh stop it. This is too funny! Where I live, the August corn is the sweetest so I get Burritos excitement. Love that image with the rope of corn silk going from his mouth to his hand. Let’s face it, Burrito is a foraging genius. That last photo with your caption just killed me! Thanks Diana, you totally brought Burrito to life. xoxo

Foxie’s birthday is coming right up! Are all the dolls on deck and ready for duty!?
Yes! Her birthday is in just a few days. There’s a tote right by the new entrance that seems to have new dolls added to it each day!
Regarding the photograph at the very top: If I didn’t know any better, I would’ve thought that was my uncle or one of my cousins at a family reunion picnic in Parke County, Indiana. The difference? Burrito writes in a more streamlined prose style…
