Foxie takes care of business

Another garter snake saga, in which everyone learns a very important lesson: Foxie will take care of it, but you would do well to give her a wide berth.

My bestest and bravest girl! However, I would have run also! Lol
Burrito is so sweet reassuring Annie. But fierce little Foxie is the super hero of the day. Wow! I totally cracked up seeing Jamie running away from the snake because she is usually the brave one driving the snake off. It’s just not fair that those sneaky snakes find their way into the chimps private residence. Thank goodness Foxie is there to protect everyone, whew!
This reminds me of our first meeting. I brought the 7 chimps stuffed chimps. Everyone but Foxie accecpted them. She considered it an intruder, threw it, pulled out it’s eyes and limbs, stomped on it and when she thought it was finished, she put a troll doll on her back and walked away!
Boy they really are afraid of snakes. Can’t say that I blame them. Loved the long arm coming out of the upper opening to try to help a friend get away from the danger.
While I don’t quite share Annie’s sentiment, she does have a point: this late in the season, shouldn’t
garter snakes and such be on their way to hibernation by now? Or, are the hibernation rules different in
Cle Elum? Even so, it was thoughtful of the valorous Mr. B to courageously offer moral support to Annie
until the brave little serpent bravely slithered away.
