Foxie the destroyer

Foxie often plays pretty rough with her dolls, quite different than she would probably treat a real infant. She will throw them, smack them and bite them one minute, and be hugging and grooming them the next. We may never know why Foxie likes certain dolls so much, but we do know that she doesn’t seem to feel any of that same affection for stuffed primate dolls.

Whoa! There was no hesitation. Foxie didn’t like that little creature. Made me gasp, too. :-0

Thank you for this sweet post about our beloved Jamie. You write so well that I can picture the scene clear as day, especially Jamie’s happiness when she saw the snowshoes. When my dog did agility for the first time, I swear he was bursting out of his skin with happiness and excitement. I’ll never forget it. That’s what you do for Jamie and her family and to see it get better with time must be so rewarding for you who work so hard caring for them. Thank you!

It’s so wonderful to read about the many emotions of one of our favorite chimp ladies…Somehow, lady doesn’t quite fit Jamie, does it? 🙂 I am really suprised that she hasn’t asked for the snowshoe itself to be handed over! 🙂 And I truly love that she finally feels so secure, loved and safe that she can fall into a deep restful sleep…

Looked exactly like my dog when I give her a cute little stuffed toy! Personally I think it was the hair — or lack of long colorful hair!!
