This video shows Foxie displaying the many ways she gets enrichment out of dolls. She still melts our hearts with her unique and playful personality. What a joy to be able to provide a sanctuary home for her!

Such a beautiful chimp person is Foxie!! It seems to me that she wants/hopes/expects the doll to move like a baby would and so she bounces it or throws it up to simulate that occurring. She rocks when the doll is passed out of the enclosure and then nurtures it when passed back. Fascinating and so touching and beautiful to watch. Hugs and love to you all…..
I love this video. I could watch it over and over again. Foxie is so sweet. It melts your heart to watch her with her dolls. The music was done so well:) Do you ever play music for the chimps? I know it would not be their normal habitat but I wonder how they would react to certain calming music.
I love watching her be a little mother, caring for a doll as if it were hers, and grooming it and kissing it and rocking it, love, love, love her!!!
