Jamie’s birthday isn’t until October 31st, but her friend Vicki sent her a very special gift recently.

Genius! Love the book! SO cool to watch Jamie taking it all in. The way she jiggles her hand to let you know to turn the page, sigh, she’s too much. CSNW, you have THE most amazing people supporting you, what a wonderful gift.
Vicki What an amazing book!! Jamie was obviously mesmerized and will likely add it to her nests. It is wonderful to see how these special beings, chimps and people, being out the best in each other

Vicki: You must be thrilled with Jamie’s reaction to your gift. She is mesmerized, slowly turning each page, going back over it again and again. Your heart must have been pounding heavily in your chest as you watched her tell them to turn the page, again and again. The video was wonderful –showing all the different angels of the episode. This has to take the prize for being one of the most heart warming posts ever. And thank you Sanctuary staff for allowing all of us followers to see it. Bless you ALL

Unbelievable response to the book from Jamie. It was deeply touching and remarkable. What an amazing chimp with such a nice friend to make this book of boots for her!

I’ve seen Negra, Jody, Annie, and Missy look through books and/or magazines, but not with the intensity that Jamie does.
Thank you so much for allowing us to see this. How amazing, and Vicki, it must be so heartwarming to see Jamie so respond so positively to the book you gave her. What a special gift???
