Love this! ?
They all appear to be very patient and sure they’re going to be fed! Love it!
They are all so patient with perfect manners. Delightful to see them enjoying their healthy meals with such joy and enthusiasm (and head bobs!).
It amazed me that they didn’t grab from each other but just sat there waiting their turn. Wonderful video
What a great video of lunch time! You can clearly see that Burrito is the most excited about the food being served! 🙂 I too am amazed at how patiently they sat and waited their turn..although I’m sure at times there must be some squabbling going on…or no?
I noticed a small tank of some kind hanging on the outside of the caging…is that water and if not, how do you offer them water? I think they should all have their own, personalized water bottles to carry around! lol
Hi Chris! The tank you see in the video holds the fluid that powers the door to Young’s Hill. The chimps get water via wall-mounted spigots around the chimp house. You can see Burrito drinking from one here: https://staging.chimpsnw.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/web_Burrito_drink_from_water_spigot_PR_ls_IMG_1550.jpg
What a delightful video. I love that they take the food so gently. Burrito is so adorable. I love food too so I can appreciate his enthusiasm:)
