This day of sanctuary was sponsored by one of our wonderful chimp family members, Jamie Reagin, in honor of her dad, Stanley Friedman, on his birthday! Happy Birthday, Stanley!
It always makes us so happy to have the privilege to share in honoring our supporters and their loved ones. Each of our supporters contributes to the chimpanzees’ lives and well-being in a myriad of ways, all playing a vital role in making a lasting difference in the chimps’ lives. And Jamie is one of several generous souls who are akin to having Amazon Wishlist fairy godmothers, who generously keep the chimp house stocked with all the things (fun and not so fun) that the humans need to keep the chimps happy and healthy, and their home running smoothly.

Ninety Four! Amazing!! Jamie said she is looking forward to celebrating your 100th birthday with you when the day comes around. For today, celebrate like the chimps at CSNW — do whatever you wish and enjoy any special enrichment the day may bring. A heartfelt Happy Birthday to you, Stanley!

Well, you won’t celebrate exactly like the chimps…. I don’t want you hanging upside down like a bat, now! Or throwing furniture.
I DO want you to get some birthday treats so special they make you squeak and growl and say, “that’s so good!”, some nap time in between play sessions, and quality time with the people who love you most!
