Sometimes I can hardly believe that this dream of Chimpanzee Sanctuary Northwest has really come true, and these seven chimpanzees, on June 13th, are going to celebrate six years of a new life of peace that they never could have dreamed was possible. Dreaming is a beautiful thing.

Wonderful shots, Diana. Love Jamie snuggled up with her boot. And I would LOVE to know what Mr B was dreaming lol.

I recently visited The Bronx Zoo in New York City. It made me sad to see the animals trapped in their glass boxes. They appeared to be in a state of boredom and depression. But the Cle Elum 7 always seem busy, excited and joyful. Except of course when they are peacefully dreaming.

I didn’t think they could look any sweeter. I was wrong. 🙂
