We tend to use the zoom lens when taking photos of the chimpanzees on Young’s Hill. This allows for a close-up view of the chimps, but doesn’t give much of a sense of what it’s like to see the chimps on two acres of land. Some of my favorite photos are those in which the chimps are just specks on the larger landscape.

do you plan on more chimps joining the group? If a baby chimp came to the sanctuary, would Foxie get to mother it?
We’d love to rescue more chimps someday. It’s really hard to guess how the Cle Elum Seven would react to young chimps, or who would take on the maternal role in the group.
Ditto Stephanie’s question
To think how much happier they must be than all those hellish years in tiny cages! It could bring a tear to one’s eye!
