Gift of Giving from Atomic Garden

Good friend and all around wonderful person Adrienne Armstrong is raising money for the chimpanzees this holiday season and providing beautiful gifts in return for donations to the chimpanzees through her business Atomic Garden.

I am curious about the pigmentation on some of the Chimpanzees faces. I was wondering if it is similar Vitiligo that humans get?
Good question! The white pigmentation on some of their faces is a natural variation that is more akin to freckles in humans – some have a little, some have a lot, and and some don’t have any at all.
