Yesterday I posted some pictures to our Facebook page of the hoedown party we had in the morning. Thanks to Lisa Stuverud for bringing us a “party in a box” with all the fun new enrichment and hoedown-themed party stuff, we were able to throw an impromptu party for the chimps! They really enjoyed their smoothie, chow, and Cheerios forage!

…And my personal favorite—Missy looking like she’s wearing a hat:

Thanks again Lisa!

Missy looks great in her sorta hat! For me it’s Jamie’s great joy with the boot piñata!

I LOVE reading the stories about the chimps and REALLY love seeing the pictures. I wish I could be there and see them in person!

I know it’s completely wrong to dress chimps up in human clothing, but I really wish one of them would have put on one of the hats by choice. That last photo is so fun, and it’s good to know they had a great party.

Love the hat. I agree with Gregg.
