With 'Dora the Explorer' doll in tow, resident chimp Foxie makes her way through tall grass in the Young's Hilll outdoor enclosure at Chimpanzee Sanctuary Northwest Thursday July 19, 2012 near Cle Elum, Wash. Before her coming to the sanctuary, Foxie used for hepatitis vaccine studies. Foxie is particular fond of Troll dolls as well.

Jordan and Lucy Bower sponsored today for Foxie’s 36th birthday. Jordan and her daughter Lucy are big fans of Miss Foxie, and they show their love frequently and generously. They sponsor Foxie through our Chimpanzee Pal program, and they even sent Foxie some new Dora the Explorer dolls. (Foxie was very grateful.)
