Volunteer caregiver-in-training Katelyn brought Jamie a new pair of boots today. Jamie continues to be completely in love with any and all cowboy boots.

First, she brachiated around the ceiling of the greenhouse for awhile with the boots safely in her pelvic pocket:

Then she looked for a place to settle down and inspect her treasure.

      That is one thing you can count on from Jamie Chimpanzee…..she will always let you know exactly how she is feeling. 🙂 Love that chimp woman!

    Is there a certain size, or width in cowboy boots for her?

      Chimpanzees’ opposable big toes make their feet significantly wider than ours, so the bigger and wider, the better. But even if she can’t fit them on her feet, Jamie still loves to carry boots around with her, so it’s a win-win. 🙂
