Negra’s kind of day

Negra’s not a big fan of the cold, so she hasn’t been spending time on the hill. Even the greenhouse is a bit too cold for her these days. Her favorite spot is lounging in the warm playroom in front of the windows, so today was Negra’s kind of day. Missy stayed in the playroom during breakfast (so we couldn’t clean there until later) so after she ate, Negra got to go right back to lounging in the sunny playroom in her bed.

    Oh Neggie, you can’t possibly know how much I miss you. I am so grateful that you have the choice to lay in the sun and soak up the warmth. I only hope this summer is up to your standards to go out and enjoy the hill.

    Negra is slowly but surely winning me over. It’s her reserved demeanor and sweet face that keep getting me. I happen to be a bit of an introvert myself, so maybe that common trait is something that strikes a chord with me.

    I hope warmer days for her, and for the humans, too. 🙂

    I am so happy to see a “today” feature of Negra. I feel an additional interest in her. She looks so dignified and serious, sometimes I would say sad. Would like to see her kick up her heels, but perhaps that isn’t part of her personality. Can she still receive Negra’s Nightbags?

      Yes, everyone still gets nightbags every night… and Negra does NOT let us forget them! As soon as dinner is over, she begins clapping and banging the cage, demanding we go get her nightbag right away! 🙂 It is truly the highlight of her day!

    I’m with Negra! Nothing better than being inside all snuggly and toasty when it’s cold outside. I am so thankful that she has the choice now.

    Yes, me too, I am so happy that Negra has the choice to choose , basking under the sunlight in the play house, and to snuggle under her blankets, and still make time for her am smoothy.
    I am especially glad for Negra because she most likely spent the most time in prioson labs,
    God knows what all she was put through, she is older, and probably just wants to enjoy the peace of her sanctuary,
