I found some gems when going through videos today. The rungs in this room (what we call around here Front Room One) normally lead to a bench. The bench was taken out and will be replaced soon, but that doesn’t mean the rungs aren’t still used by acrobatic Foxie.

lol, I just adore Foxie and her trolls. She should have known she couldn’t get away from Jamie that way.

Thanks Diana. I could watch the interaction and play all day. I often wonder how you all get anything done.

wonderful ! i love the breathy play pants and Foxie teasing with her troll , i was wondering does Foxie always give her trolls up to Jamie ? wit her been dominant , and does she always get them back ?

There are usually anywhere from 3 to 20 trolls within the enrichment for the day, so sometimes Jamie or other chimps will pick up trolls that Foxie hasn’t claimed. In the beginning, when Foxie first started her troll obsession, Jamie would sometimes take a troll doll from her, and Foxie would comply, but was obviously not too happy about it. Now Foxie gives her trolls to Jamie when they are playing, or Jamie comes by and takes one as a way to get Foxie to play and they both continue with the game of keep-away. Jamie usually eventually gives them back and Foxie is no longer anxious if Jamie has one or two – she just finds another one. It’s amazing how much troll dolls play into everyday life at the sanctuary now!
