It’s really hard to say if Foxie would have made a good mother, but one thing is for sure, her babies would be getting lots of fresh air and sunshine these days!

Little sweetheart with her troll out in the fresh air , I so wish this lovely girl had at least got the chance to try bringing up her babies , for whatever reason she so enjoys her trolls and they bring her some comfort and warms our hearts as well xxx

Well said! It does warm our hearts. I’ve told several “troll buddies” that Foxie was hesitant to go out at first but she found support from different quarters, and that like us human troll lovers, some of Foxie’s best friends are plastic too! I think discovering Foxie & her trolls ranks up there as one of my life’s most unexpectedly unique and joyful experiences!! Her ability to connect to these little beings, whether as surrogate babies, or playthings is such a cognitive leap, it implies such an imaginative faculty that it just boggles my mind!

I agree, Marie. They do make her happy and when the chimps are happy, we approve!

Amazing–how does she keep them on her back? Does she tuck them in her bed at night, too?

Marcia, Grandma at Chimp Haven in Louisiana loves Spongebob Squarepants and because he’s square he stays on her back quite well. I agree with Dawn, that it’s amazing what the chimps can connect with. It just teaches us to think outside the box.

That’s my girl! They all have such wonderful personalities and stories but I have to say that, along with Dawn, Foxie’s relationships with her trolls really connects with me in a special way. She’ll be my first pal when I get the chance…
