Jody and Annie in the bamboo

Winter Break

It was gorgeous this afternoon! No wind (a rarity around these parts), clear skies and that welcoming yellow orb in the sky. Everyone except Burrito and Negra spent quite a bit of time on Young’s Hill enjoying this little break from winter. Burrito was very happy to grab snow from the raceway and Negra peaked out but went back to the warmth of her nest.

These two don’t spend much time with each other, but today Annie and Jody went on a little hike together:

Annie found a perch:

Meanwhile, Missy was busy with a large piece of ice she found in a tire:

Jamie was busy trying to stuff a tie (with a troll doll tied to it) into one of the holes in the treat rock:

and Foxie wandered all around with her dolls:

Diana, I couldn’t help but chuckle seeing Missy with the piece of ice, it reminded me of the July 31, 2009 video when she dealt with the ice block. I’ll say this about Missy when she sets her mind to something she stick with it until she succeeds with her mission. Love this girl!!!!

Thanks Diana – it is so heart warming and amazing to see them outside.

Aren’t they amazing–braving the cool weather, ice and snow and on with their adventures. Wonderful photos, wish Burrito and Negra would venture out just a bit. But after all, they have the choice and staying inside and observing the others can be contentment enought! Thanks, DIana.

Isn’t that just like Jamie to be so thoughtful, stuffing trolls into the treat rock. What could be a better surprise for Foxie to find? 😉
