Moment by moment, day by day. Someday we’ll be reminiscing about the days when the chimps were afraid to stay outside for long.
Good for you, Annie!!!
Hooray for Annie!! Sometimes all it takes is some kindness from friends to move one forward. Thanks for the photos and update, Diana–wonderful!
That’s my girl! I think you said she spent quite a bit of time in the hammock on the first day out. I remember thinking it was just what I would do.
Yay, Annie…and kudos to Missy for helping her friend do what is scary.
awww, Annie you are so brave 🙂
These are wonderful photos! I love seeing Annie out on the hill, and I LOVE that she had the choice to eat breakfast outside or inside….wherever she wanted! 🙂 The caregivers at CSNW are the BEST!!
It just keeps getting better and better!!! What a wonderful site to behold when I opened the blog this morning. Yes, good friends are what it’s all about. I think Missy takes the crown for that one this week!!!
Thank you for all the wonderful photos and updates. And I can’t wait for the Sunday news!!
Missy surely is the star of the week, Jeanie!
they’re so brave and doing sooooooo great! Go Missy!!!
Yay for Annie! Whoo Hoo! A big thank you to Missy who has been the best friend a girl could want XOXO
They are happy. I’m glad!
I can’t even imagine the feeling of being surrounded by caging for decades and then given the choice to go outside with all the space in the world. It feels almost agoraphobic, but with Missy (who has truly shined this week) helping, they’ll all be on Young’s Hill. There was a chimp, at Save the Chimps, that took a year to walk onto the grass and out onto the island.
