Annie

Annie is a clown with her best friend Missy, but otherwise she’s pretty shy. It’s not often that she engages her human caregivers in anything other than a brief greeting. Today, though, I caught her in a playful mood as she was making a nest in the front rooms.

It’s funny, every time I see a video, I think “that one is my favorite!” – no matter which one it is! I love Annie’s sweet face and her bright eyes and her astonishing beauty…..today, (and many other days) she is soooo my favorite! I <3 Annie!

I’ve never seen Annie be so playful with a caregiver before, she looked so happy. I hope we’ll see more of playful Annie in the years to come. Loved the new 2nd year book, great picture of Annie on the cover. I even learned new information about Annie in the latest newsletter.

Is Annie missing her top canines?

    • Avatar Elizabeth on November 18, 2010 at 12:04 pm

MS – Annie still has her canines. Chimpanzees have canine diastema, which means there’s a gap between their canines and neighboring incisors. The gap provides a space for the opposing canine to rest when the mouth is closed.
