Jackie and Elizabeth are off to see Jane Goodall speak in Seattle and I’m here closing up, looking at some photos and videos from the last couple of days.

I did a double take when I saw this photo, taken through one of the picture windows, of Missy doing a very good impersonation of Negra:

I love how they use their blankets! I posted the Video of Foxie with her new doll and got a lot of good feedback!

Last night I snuck up on Jane Goodall at the Nature Concservancy Event, behind a child, shameless, but I got her to sign my Cle Elum Seven : Year One book. She said: ‘It’s a great book’. Just wanted you all to know that!

I’ll admit I did a double-take when I saw this photo, way to go Missy. I saw Jane Goodall, in Dallas, about 20 years ago and this was before I fell in love with chimpanzees. When I was watching the 60 Minutes segment, on Jane Goodall, I watched in awe because of what she single-handedly accomplished in her life.

OH MAN!! How did I NOT know that Jane Goodall was appearing in the northwest?? I’ll be scorning my daughter this weekend when I see her! I would have LOVED to have heard her speak….let alone hide behind a child to get her autograph!!
