This is one of my favorite sights: Jody gathering blankets for one of her huge, elaborate nests.

Night night, Jody. What does she have in her mouth? Looks like corn husks.

Whoa! Climbing the stairs bi-pedally with her arms full is pretty darn clever of her – go, Jody! 🙂

So sweet. It is so nice to see her gathering up what makes her comfortable and then deciding where she will sleep. Sleep tight dear one.

Does this happen every night? Is Jody the only one who loves the blankets. Very enjoyable video.

      Kat – I believe you’re right.

chimp pal – It does, and often during the day as well. All of the chimps here except Foxie and Burrito make nests out of blankets, clothes, paper, etc. Burrito and Foxie are more hesitant nesters, but they’re coming along.

Choosing her blankets and choosing her place to sleep it’s what it’s all about. Choices after so many years of not having any. Thank you all, for giving her and the other chimps that.
