RIP Tom.
I fell in love with Tom when I watched the 2007 documentary, “Chimpanzees: An Unnatural History”. This documentary ends with Tom climbing a tree, for the first time in decades, and they weren’t even sure if he could. I had tear streaming down my face at the end of this documentary.
When I read about Tom I will always think of him climbing that tree and it brings a smile to my face. If you haven’t seen this documentary, you should, it’s images will remain with you for the rest of your life.
