I always love a good ice cube to chomp on especially living in Texas. Here’s an idea, I love iced tea so I pour some into my ice cube trays and freeze it, I don’t know what the “7” love to drink but maybe they’d like flavored ice.
Candace, the chimps love tea! What a great idea. I was there today and had such a good time. We made ice cream. I guess it was more like the Italian Ices. We put watermelon and pineapple in some sweetened water. It tasted good, I think and I didn’t hear any complaints from the “7”. If it isn’t done before I get there next week I will freeze some tea.
Great video Elizabeth. I loved hearing the crunching.
Love the video of the crunching. Nothing better than something icy on a hot day. I would think the 7 would love any type of fruit juice frozen or made into a slushie for them to slurp. If the love tea (me too) they would love tea cubes. By the way, do chimps get brain freeze? Hmmmmm
Oh for such caring people on a hot hot day!
Ice treats are the best on a hot summer day. Do you ever freeze your treats in used yogurt cups? (Brown Cow yogurt cups are the best.) I make them for the chimps at my local zoo and they can just sit there with their handful of ice. I also put fruits, such as blueberries inside or sometimes dates or figs. Either way, I love the idea of using tea!
Mmmm gimme more icicles!
I love the troll’s hair blowin’ in the wind!
Lots of great ideas here — thanks, everyone!
