Mmmm… dinner

One of the most important aspects of sanctuary life is variety. And one of the most exciting times for chimpanzees is mealtime. Our staff and volunteers delight in creating dinners that are always a little different. The food grunts and squeaks that the chimpanzees make are a pretty good reward for the effort, I’d say.

Great video, Diana! I love the grunts and squeaks! It’s heartwarming to see them enjoy good food prepared with love. They feel that love and they are letting you know it!
Gosh, that looks so yummy! LOL – I need someone to make interesting meals for me!!!
Just how many bowls did Mr. Burrito end up with? lol! And how did he carry them all? (I’m just a limited human, what can I say…)
This one is so fun to watch and listen. There is nothing like a squeak from Burrito and a grunt from Negra. I liked seeing a bit of pink troll doll hair in the corner with Foxie. Burrito looked like he was pushing some more on the floor in front of him!!
Oh that was just too much fun to watch, I was laughing out loud, especially at Burrito!
