Even with temperatures above 80 degrees, Negra insists on napping under a blanket. Behind her, Foxie and Jody muster just enough energy to play tickle laying down.

Negra always looks so peaceful wrapped in her blankets. It just goes to show us that sometimes it ‘s the simple things that can bring us happiness, like a soft blanket.

That adorable picture of Jamie looking out at you with her blue knit hat on keeps popping in my head the last couple of days … and it brings a smile each time.

I was thinking that they have watched all of you holding cameras to your faces for a year now. It would be fun to give them play cameras to see if they mimic your behavior.

Love, love, love your blog. Thank you so much.

Absolutely, Candace! A soft blanket, like a warm fuzzy, will make you feel good all over. Negra deserves all the comfort she can get!

That is just a great way to spend a lazy warm day, laying under a blanket to keep the sun off her and having a quiet tickle party. Ladies you are wonderful. Thanks to you to JB.

Hi Susan – The chimps did have a toy camera for a while. It eventually got destroyed but they did play with it now and then. But they knew it was a toy – what they really like to do is look at the photos we are taking on the LCD screen on the back of our real camera. Occasionally Jamie decides that she doesn’t want us taking pictures, but if we show her some of the photos we’ve just taken, she will allow us to continue.
